Q1: Starting a job
1. You have started a new job 6 months ago in a restaurant. When you started you were told that you were waiting tables. Last month you were moved to being on the till. You were told you would have training but it was so busy that this hasn’t happened. Your boss calls you into the office and tells you that you aren’t doing a good job and they have to fire you.
Can they fire you? Is there anything you can do about it ?

You share a flat with your best friend which was working really well. However, money is tight and you take in a 3rd person. You asked them to move into your rental to help pay the bills. You told the landlord and they are fine with it but there is no agreement in place. The new flatmate is having money issues and has stopped paying the rent into the rent account. The seller says the car runs perfectly and when you take it for a drive all goes well so you buy it . Two weeks later it breaks down and won’t start . The garage tells you that there is an oil leak which has been happening for a while and will cost $1000 to repair . You try to contact the seller but they won’t talk to you ….
